DAILY SCHEDULE, weather dependant

 

THURSDAY

• Meet at our stunning beachside accomodation

• Enjoy some time together as a group with some mindful meditation and connection activities.

• Dinner before we head out for our Turtle Tour

• Discover where great care begins and how we can all make a difference, with the day time experiences at Mon Repos Turtle Centre, such as Turtle Tales or a Guided Ranger Walk through the conservation park. Combine coffee and culture with brunch in the Milbi Cafe at Mon Repos, before browsing the gift shop and art gallery filled with pieces from local indigenous artists.In the evening we will go Mons Repo

• Witness the tiny hatchlings emerging from their sandy nests to scurry down the beach towards the sea. Please be aware we are dealing with wildlife so we may not encounter any turtles. We may be walking for 1.6km in search for turtles on uneven surfaces. 

 

FRIDAY

 

Lady Musgrave Experience 7:30AM and finishes at 5:30 PM

 

• Lady Musgrave HQ nestled in the calm and sheltered waters of the lagoon for snorkelling, glass bottom boat tour and a guided island walk.  Enjoy a gourmet buffet lunch using the freshest local produce Bundaberg has to offer during the 4.5 hour stay in the lagoon.  On the trip to and from Lady Musgrave enjoy priority boarding, reserved seating in our Captain's Premium Lounge, barista made coffee throughout the day, re-usable drink bottle and coffee cup, complimentary wet-suit hire and a beer/wine or soft drink with a gourmet cheese platter for your return trip. 

• Dinner and evening outdoor movie night 

 

SATURDAY

• Morning Sound Immersion and Mindful Meditation Practice 

• Hire a Bike and go for a group ride or go for a walk along the shoreline

• 2pm You have the choice of taking some time out for you or you can enjoy a Rum or Gin Tour 

• Bundaberg Rum Tour After exploring the museum, join one of our expert distillery guides on a journey deep into the heart of the working Bundaberg Rum Distillery. Start by visiting our molasses well, which holds up to 5 million litres of molasses, fresh from our neighbours at the sugar mill across the road.

• Then on to fermentation where you'll get a sneak-peak into one of our fermentation tanks, before learning all about our double distillation process. Finally head on to our grand Barrel House where you’ll learn about how we age and mature our rum for a minimum of two years before our liquid makes it’s way into a bottle.

• Once you’ve experienced the sights and smells of our distillery, you’ll return to our Bundaberg Rum Tasting Bar, where you can sample any of the top shelf rums from our range. Cheers to that!

• Kalki Moon Distillery Come out back with our distillers and learn all about the gin creation process. We’ll take you through a guided tour of the distillery, explaining each process throughout the Distillery. Letting you in on the special Kalki Moon touches we make along the way.

• Dinner and evening connections around the fire
