Girraween Discovery
Take in the fresh air, amazing views and memories to be shared with other adventurous women! This is a great option for those who love camping or just getting back into camping also available are cabins; there are hot showers & toilets, a large camp kitchen plenty of fridge space to use.... sit back & relax in the evening and enjoy your meal getting cooked for you. We will carpool each day to the hiking locations, just a 20 minute drive.
All hikes are optional.
Travel time from the Sunshine Coast is 3 1/2-4 hours.

Thursday:

Meet by 1:00 PM to set up camp

2:00 PM drive down to the day use area and enjoy a guided sunset hike

Dinner all together around the camp fire getting to know one another
Friday:

9:00 AM Head out for our morning guided walk and learn about some plant species and enjoy some mindful meditation

Many locations for wine tasting but we do have one right across the road at Komino's

Alternatively lots of fun shops to check out around Stanthorpe

Dinner around the campfire enjoying some laughs and wine that you may of picked up from your trip into town haha

Grading of Tracks: Grade 3 to 4
Bushwalkers with moderate levels of experience and fitness.Tracks may be rough with steep, exposed rock inclines and many steps. Caution needed on decomposed granite and at exposed natural lookouts. Ankle-supporting footwear required.
